The Region

The Riverina region is
home to the Calabria Family Winery.

The region enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with winter dominant rainfall and variations of soils from deep red tones through to brown clay loams. The Riverina is centered around the city of Griffith which was established in the early 1900s. The Calabria Family sources its grape supply from local family growers, and some of these relationships started when Francesco Calabria founded the winery in 1945. Today the family continues to work closely with the growers to ensure optimum quality.
